Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Autumn Landscape by Cai Jia was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2001. It achieved a price of HKD 235,000.00 (€ 33,500.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cai Jia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains and Rivers Without End in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 24,100,000.00 (€ 2,594,730.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Cai Jia kam im Oktober 2001 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 235.000,00 (€ 33.500,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cai Jia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains and Rivers Without End im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.100.000,00 (€ 2.594.730,21).
