Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Living Contemporary, which included this untitled work by C.O. Paeffgen. The price achieved of EUR 10,080.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by C.O. Paeffgen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Akt. in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 193,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Köln die Auktion Living Contemporary durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von C.O. Paeffgen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.080,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von C.O. Paeffgen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Akt. im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 193.750,00.
