Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris Langlois auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Ocean no. 11 im August 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 9.400,00 (€ 5.553,07).
