Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Burt Procter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2020. In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work Time Out sold for USD 4,462.50 (€ 3,648.81) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Burt Procter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cowboy on horseback, which sold at auction in April 2019 for USD 8,200.00 (€ 7,320.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Burt Procter erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion California and Western Art Online wurde die Arbeit Time Out für USD 4.462,50 (€ 3.648,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Burt Procter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cowboy on horseback beobachtet, die im April 2019 für USD 8.200,00 (€ 7.320,77) versteigert wurde.
