A top price for Bui Huu Hung
The work Golden Afternoon by Bui Huu Hung was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art and Southeast Asian Art auction at Bonhams in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 108,800.00 (€ 13,040.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. With this result, Golden Afternoon is even the most expensive work of art by Bui Huu Hung that we have observed at auctions so far.
