Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Books by Bui Huu Hung was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,600.00 (€ 3,095.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bui Huu Hung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Golden Afternoon in May this year with an auction result of HKD 108,800.00 (€ 13,040.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Books von Bui Huu Hung wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 25.600,00 (€ 3.095,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bui Huu Hung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Golden Afternoon im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 108.800,00 (€ 13.040,89).
