Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain / Online, which included the work Button; Jar; Fishing Boat 3 Works by Bryan Ingham. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,600.00 – 3,600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,101.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bryan Ingham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Blue Jug And The Lizard Landscape in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 14,375.00 (€ 17,910.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain / Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Button; Jar; Fishing Boat 3 Works von Bryan Ingham zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.600,00 – 3.600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.101,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan Ingham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Blue Jug And The Lizard Landscape im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.375,00 (€ 17.910,62).
