Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Jimmy Armstrong, 'The Dwarf,' Palisades, New Jersey, USA by Bruce Davidson. The price achieved of USD 4,826.00 (€ 4,566.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bruce Davidson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Circus Dwarf, Palisades, NJ in April 2001 with an auction result of USD 18,800.00 (€ 21,185.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jimmy Armstrong, 'The Dwarf,' Palisades, New Jersey, USA von Bruce Davidson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.826,00 (€ 4.566,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bruce Davidson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Circus Dwarf, Palisades, NJ im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.800,00 (€ 21.185,49).
