Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman by Bror Hjorth was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,567.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bror Hjorth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Blå Eva" in April 2016 with an auction result of SEK 2,400,000.00 (€ 261,165.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman von Bror Hjorth wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.567,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bror Hjorth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Blå Eva" im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.400.000,00 (€ 261.165,98).
