Despite a disappointment, a good price for Bror Hjorth
This work of art by Bror Hjorth could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Moderna auction, the work "Blå Eva" changed hands for SEK 2,400,000.00 (€ 261,165.98) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 3,000,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, "Blå Eva" is the most expensive artwork by Bror Hjorth that we have observed at auction so far.
