Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,680.00 (€ 8,899.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brian Shields - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Terraces And Mills, which sold at auction in December 2013 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,056.90).
