A top price for Brian Seidel - as previously expected
The work Summer Figure Interior by Brian Seidel was sold in the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in November 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 9,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 9,400.00 (€ 5,670.56) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Summer Figure Interior is the most expensive artwork by Brian Seidel that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Summer Figure Interior von Brian Seidel wurde im November 2003 in der Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS bei Christies in Melbourne versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von AUD 9.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von AUD 9.400,00 (€ 5.670,56) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
