Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still Life with Lemons by Brian Dunlop was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in Sydney in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 1,353.00 (€ 880.37). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brian Dunlop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eumeralla 2 in May 2002 with an auction result of AUD 19,387.50 (€ 11,750.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still Life with Lemons von Brian Dunlop wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Bonhams in Sydney versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 1.353,00 (€ 880,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brian Dunlop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eumeralla 2 im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 19.387,50 (€ 11.750,00).
