In the The New York Sale auction, the work John Lennon, Dakota, Nyc sold for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,318.58) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Brian Hamill; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Manhattan sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,798.06).
