This artwork by Brendan Cass achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2021. In the The Hoarder: Part III auction, the work Hoom sold for GBP 1,764.00 (€ 2,104.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brendan Cass - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gold Castle, which sold at auction in February 2010 for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,972.46).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Brendan Cass erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Hoarder: Part III wurde die Arbeit Hoom für GBP 1.764,00 (€ 2.104,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Brendan Cass mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gold Castle beobachtet, die im Februar 2010 für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.972,46) versteigert wurde.
