Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Provence by Brendan Cass was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,659.24). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brendan Cass - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gold Castle, which sold at auction in February 2010 for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,972.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Provence von Brendan Cass kam im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.659,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Brendan Cass mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gold Castle beobachtet, die im Februar 2010 für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.972,46) versteigert wurde.
