Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction An Auction to Benefit the Kolkata Museum of Modern Art, which included the work Stretched Bodies by Bose Krishnamachari. The price achieved of USD 39,000.00 (€ 28,444.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Other works by Bose Krishnamachari have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2007 the work Stretched Bodies, 2007 was auctioned for EUR 37,176.00.
