In May 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Mother And Child by Boris Lovet-Lorski. The »bidding war« ended at USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,195.37), 72% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Boris Lovet-Lorski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Standing Horses: A Pair of Works in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 324,500.00 (€ 278,063.41).

Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother And Child von Boris Lovet-Lorski zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 103.000,00 (€ 66.195,37) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Lovet-Lorski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Standing Horses: A Pair of Works im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 324.500,00 (€ 278.063,41).
