Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Horse by Boris Lovet-Lorski. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 29,169.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Boris Lovet-Lorski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Standing Horses: A Pair of Works in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 324,500.00 (€ 278,063.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horse von Boris Lovet-Lorski zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 29.169,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Lovet-Lorski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Standing Horses: A Pair of Works im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 324.500,00 (€ 278.063,41).
