Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Feodor Chaliapin by Boris Anisfeld was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 128,116.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Boris Anisfeld have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowering Tree in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 581,867.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of Feodor Chaliapin von Boris Anisfeld kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 128.116,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Anisfeld auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowering Tree im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 581.867,42).
