Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Exodus From Egypt by Boris Anisfeld was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 100,000.00 (€ 113,514.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Boris Anisfeld have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowering Tree in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 581,867.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Exodus From Egypt von Boris Anisfeld wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 113.514,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Anisfeld auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowering Tree im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 581.867,42).
