Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Matchmaking: choosing a groom by Boris Grigoriev. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,836.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Grigoriev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russianshepherd Of The Hills in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 3,722,500.00 (€ 2,932,487.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Matchmaking: choosing a groom von Boris Grigoriev zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.836,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boris Grigoriev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russianshepherd Of The Hills im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.722.500,00 (€ 2.932.487,79).
