Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Riverside by Boris Grigoriev was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 40,320.00 (€ 45,041.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Grigoriev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russianshepherd Of The Hills in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 3,722,500.00 (€ 2,932,487.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Riverside von Boris Grigoriev kam im Dezember 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 40.320,00 (€ 45.041,03) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
