Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life with Candle by Boris Grigoriev was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 189,000.00 (€ 211,129.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Grigoriev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russianshepherd Of The Hills in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 3,722,500.00 (€ 2,932,487.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life with Candle von Boris Grigoriev wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 189.000,00 (€ 211.129,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boris Grigoriev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russianshepherd Of The Hills im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.722.500,00 (€ 2.932.487,79).
