The work The Embrace by Boris Grigoriev was worth GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,729.10) to a buyer in June 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Grigoriev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russianshepherd Of The Hills in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 3,722,500.00 (€ 2,932,487.79).
