A top price for Bohumil Kubista - as previously expected
The work Czech still Life With Fruit (Zátiší S Ovocem) by Bohumil Kubista was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2011. The price achieved of GBP 397,250.00 (€ 439,483.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Czech still Life With Fruit (Zátiší S Ovocem) is the most expensive artwork by Bohumil Kubista that we have observed at auctions so far.
