Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Czech portrait Of The Artist'S Mother (Portrét Umělcovy Matky) by Bohumil Kubista for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,828.93). This price was achieved in the auction The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bohumil Kubista achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech still Life With Fruit (Zátiší S Ovocem) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 397,250.00 (€ 439,483.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Czech portrait Of The Artist'S Mother (Portrét Umělcovy Matky) von Bohumil Kubista für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.828,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bohumil Kubista erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech still Life With Fruit (Zátiší S Ovocem) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 397.250,00 (€ 439.483,29).
