This artwork by Bodys Isek Kingelez achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in November 2021. In the African Contemporary Art auction, the work Conferences Of American District sold for EUR 39,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bodys Isek Kingelez; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pacific Art - 1989 sold at auction in December 2018 with the realized price of EUR 71,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Bodys Isek Kingelez erzielte im November 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion African Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Conferences Of American District für EUR 39.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Bodys Isek Kingelez; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pacific Art - 1989 im Dezember 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 71.500,00.
