This artwork by Blanche Lazzell achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2018. In the American Art auction, the work Cubist Composition sold for USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,236.85) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Blanche Lazzell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting Xi (The Windmill) in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 505,000.00 (€ 324,550.13).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Blanche Lazzell erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit Cubist Composition für USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.236,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Blanche Lazzell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting Xi (The Windmill) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 505.000,00 (€ 324.550,13).
