Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work 'Viland' by Björn Wessman for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,693.79). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Björn Wessman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Cabriéres" in April this year with an auction result of SEK 100,000.00 (€ 8,840.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Viland' von Björn Wessman für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.693,79) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Björn Wessman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Cabriéres" im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 100.000,00 (€ 8.840,58).
