In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work The Coast Guard's Hut sold for USD 19,200.00 (€ 15,923.04) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lovell Birge Harrison - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunrise, Quebec, which sold at auction in September 2005 for USD 45,600.00 (€ 37,817.22).
