In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Lower Town, Quebec sold for USD 26,400.00 (€ 21,894.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lovell Birge Harrison; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sunrise, Quebec sold at auction in September 2005 with the realized price of USD 45,600.00 (€ 37,817.22).
