In March 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Three Vaishnavaites by Biren De. The »bidding war« ended at USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,898.16), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Biren De; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot September '73 sold at auction in October 2018 with the realized price of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 67,661.49).

Im März 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Vaishnavaites von Biren De zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.898,16) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Biren De; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit September '73 im Oktober 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 67.661,49).
