Auction result well in line with expectations
The work April 73 by Biren De was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 19,232.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Biren De - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work September '73, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 60,000.00 (€ 67,661.49).

Die Arbeit April 73 von Biren De kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 19.232,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Biren De mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit September '73 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 60.000,00 (€ 67.661,49) versteigert wurde.
