Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Intimate Apparel by Beryl Cook was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in March this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 19,125.00 (€ 21,758.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Beryl Cook have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September last year the work The Red Umbrella was auctioned for GBP 38,100.00 (€ 43,361.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Intimate Apparel von Beryl Cook wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 19.125,00 (€ 21.758,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Beryl Cook konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September letzten Jahres die Arbeit The Red Umbrella für GBP 38.100,00 (€ 43.361,48) versteigert.
