Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cisco by Bertrand Lavier was auctioned at Christies in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 27,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bertrand Lavier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Atomium, 2007 in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cisco von Bertrand Lavier kam im Juni 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 27.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bertrand Lavier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Atomium, 2007 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
