Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Bertrand Lavier was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June last year. The price achieved of GBP 8,925.00 (€ 10,368.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bertrand Lavier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Atomium, 2007 in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bertrand Lavier kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.925,00 (€ 10.368,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bertrand Lavier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Atomium, 2007 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
