Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art | Milan, which included this untitled work by Bertina Lopes. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 9,450.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bertina Lopes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ritratto, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 20,250.00 (€ 24,008.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bertina Lopes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 9.450,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Bertina Lopes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ritratto beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 20.250,00 (€ 24.008,65) versteigert wurde.
