This work without title by Bertina Lopes was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October this year. It achieved a price of GBP 4,096.00 (€ 4,703.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Admittedly, works by Bertina Lopes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ritratto in March last year with an auction result of GBP 20,250.00 (€ 24,008.65).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bertina Lopes kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.096,00 (€ 4.703,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bertina Lopes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ritratto im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.250,00 (€ 24.008,65).
