The work Paysanne allongée by Berthe Morisot was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May last year. It achieved a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,893.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Berthe Morisot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme et enfant au balcon in February 2017 with an auction result of GBP 4,085,000.00 (€ 4,780,965.81).

Die Arbeit Paysanne allongée von Berthe Morisot kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.893,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Berthe Morisot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme et enfant au balcon im Februar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.085.000,00 (€ 4.780.965,81).
