It achieved a price of CAD 9,600.00 (€ 6,996.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Berthe des Clayes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Among The Poppies; Among The Delphiniums, which sold at auction in May 2011 for CAD 20,400.00 (€ 14,647.25).
