Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Famille De Paysans Dans Un Intérieur by Bernhard Keil for EUR 10,625.00. This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings and Drawings at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernhard Keil achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A recumbent shepherd boy with a sleeping dog by his side, a wicker basket at his feet in December 2001 with an auction result of GBP 119,250.00 (€ 194,837.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Famille De Paysans Dans Un Intérieur von Bernhard Keil für EUR 10.625,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Drawings bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernhard Keil erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A recumbent shepherd boy with a sleeping dog by his side, a wicker basket at his feet im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 119.250,00 (€ 194.837,97).
