Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Saint Peter by Bernardo Strozzi for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,809.12). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernardo Strozzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Supper At Emmaus in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 914,500.00 (€ 1,100,001.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Saint Peter von Bernardo Strozzi für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 24.809,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernardo Strozzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Supper At Emmaus im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 914.500,00 (€ 1.100.001,67).
