The price achieved of GBP 914,500.00 (€ 1,100,001.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Supper At Emmaus is the most expensive artwork by Bernardo Strozzi that we have observed at auctions so far.
