A top price for Bernardo Strozzi - as previously expected
The work The Supper At Emmaus by Bernardo Strozzi was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2013. The price achieved of GBP 914,500.00 (€ 1,100,001.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Supper At Emmaus is the most expensive artwork by Bernardo Strozzi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Supper At Emmaus von Bernardo Strozzi kam im Dezember 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 914.500,00 (€ 1.100.001,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden.
