The work Saint Francis in Ecstasy by Bernardo Strozzi was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 48,034.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernardo Strozzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Supper At Emmaus in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 914,500.00 (€ 1,100,001.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Saint Francis in Ecstasy von Bernardo Strozzi kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 48.034,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernardo Strozzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Supper At Emmaus im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 914.500,00 (€ 1.100.001,67).
