The price achieved of USD 237,500.00 (€ 220,029.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernardo Strozzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Supper At Emmaus in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 914,500.00 (€ 1,100,001.67).
