Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Orangina by Bernard Villemot was sold in the Decorative Arts and Contemporary Ceramics including Vintage Posters auction at Bonhams in London in December 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 956.25 (€ 1,068.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Villemot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bally, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,182.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Orangina von Bernard Villemot wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Decorative Arts and Contemporary Ceramics including Vintage Posters bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.068,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernard Villemot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bally beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.182,49) versteigert wurde.
