In October this year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Vintage Posters Online, which included the work Orangina by Bernard Villemot. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,088.00 36% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Villemot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bally, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,182.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 36 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Vintage Posters Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Orangina von Bernard Villemot zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.088,00 und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernard Villemot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bally beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.182,49) versteigert wurde.
