Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contrex by Bernard Villemot was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. The price achieved of GBP 637.50 (€ 727.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard Villemot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bally in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,182.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Contrex von Bernard Villemot kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 637,50 (€ 727,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Villemot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bally im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.182,49).
