Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Vintage posters, which included the work Bally, Blonde by Bernard Villemot. The price achieved of EUR 1,275.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernard Villemot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bally, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,182.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Vintage posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bally, Blonde von Bernard Villemot zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.275,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernard Villemot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bally beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.182,49) versteigert wurde.
